Conducting started in the Brussels Conservatory, where I noticed that my musical skills couldn’t be exploited most efficiently as a French horn player. Technical masters would always be one step ahead. While as a conductor, the technical skill is just a tool to visualize your wishes.

So I started working with different genres of conducting and improved step by step thanks to great teachers as Ivo Venkov, Steven Verhaert and Wim Henderickx a.o. My master degree was accomplished with great support of Dirk Decaluwé and a whole lot of friends and collegues that formed the orchestra to defend the Thesis Concert in march 2012. Thanks to an Erasmus scholarship I could learn heaps from Lucas Vis in the Conservatorium of Amsterdam. Also a couple of masterclasses have led to a more self-contained, conscious and proficient state of the art. The influences of Ivan Meylemans, Filip Rathé, Iván Fischer, Daniel Klajner, Robin Engelen, Patrick Davin, Paul Griffiths and Jan Cober will never dissappear.
